Sharaf, named after the Arabic term for honor, gracefully occupies a space on the ground floor of Riad Hikaya, leading into the enchanting, mirror-lined smaller courtyard. As the largest room in the Riad, Sharaf boasts an exquisite antique Berber door that beautifully harmonizes with the handcrafted wooden bed, fashioned in the Berber style. The walls are adorned with hand-cut zelij tiles from Fes, lending a regal touch to the room’s decor.
The tadelakt walls are embellished with cactus silk curtains, adding to the traditional elegance alongside the shutters, while the carved ceiling features intricate Zowaqq hand decoration. The room is further accented by two sumptuously comfortable cactus silk armchairs and a refined copper desk, enhancing its luxurious ambiance.
The bathroom is a masterpiece of design, with hand-painted and zelij-tiled detailing. It features a silver monsoon shower and a sunken tadelakt bath, offering a truly opulent bathing experience.
